MAGDA WARZOCHA, M.A.
“… I am sure all teachers (and especially language teachers) should go abroad and participate in teachers’ training courses as a part of their self-development. It is a great chance to meet colleagues from other countries and share some of our best ideas with each other.
Go raibh míle maith agat to all the people who made this experience possible: Dawid and Ewa – thank you for giving me this amazing opportunity; Ian, Aidan, John and Stuart – you are my teaching super stars and thank you for bringing all the Irish craic to the classroom;”
Two Cities: Many Stories is our two-week Erasmus+ course on Cultural Heritage—an immersive journey through Ireland’s stories, spaces, and communities. In Week 1, we’ll be based in Dublin, a city where Georgian streets, literary landmarks, and contemporary arts come alive. In the mornings, local experts and trainers will bring heritage to life in our classrooms, in workshops and on the streets of the city. You will take part in practical, classroom-ready communicative activities that connect language learning with place, identity, and intercultural understanding. In the afternoons, you’ll explore museums and galleries, and enjoy live music and fun in the pubs and cafes.
In Week 2, we travel to Derry, a city renowned for its intimate atmosphere and living history. Within its 17th-century walls, you’ll encounter powerful local voices—guides, educators, artists and trainers—who model dialogue, remembrance, and resilience. Through walks, workshops, and storytelling sessions, you’ll experience how heritage can build bridges, enrich language learning, and invite our learners to see themselves as active citizens.
