A caring au pair placement service is provided for youths aged between 18 and 25.  Au pairs must have intermediate level English and basic conversation skills together with some experience of minding children.  Au pairs are carefully matched with families who require help with children and housework.

Au pairs come to school in Linguaviva and can also benefit from all the school facilities as well as a special rate for classes.   Linguaviva’ s au pair co-ordinator will look after any problems that may arise and give advice to both au pairs and families in this regard.

This is an ideal way for students wishing to stay for a long time in the country to learn the language.  Please do remember, however, that it will not be a holiday and that free time for both study & enjoyment will be limited.  It is absolutely essential that you like children.
